This programme brings an international flavour to degree-level studies in one of today’s faster growing industries. Students will gain the skills and the knowledge that are increasingly in demand by employers worldwide. Students will gain knowledge in strategic planning for tourism and leisure, international hospitality management, urban tourism and more, which will enable them to:

• Develop key areas of knowledge and expertise necessary for both employment in the tourism and hospitality industries worldwide and for lifelong learning.
• Develop transferable skills and to improve their own learning and work performance.
• Contribute to the tourism and hospitality industries at regional, national and international levels.

Applicants must be of age 19 and above and possess one of the following requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management awarded by MDIS OR
• Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality/ Events Management/ Business related disciplines from local polytechnics (which are deemed by the University to be equivalent to Level 4/ Year 1 and Level 5/ Year 2 of the University Course) with an entry requirement of 11 years of formal education OR
• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Tourism/Hospitality/Events Management/Business related disciplines OR
• Mature candidates 30 years old and above with 8 years of relevant work experience OR
• Other Diploma and Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
