BS (Honours) Information Teсhnology

The BS (Hons) Information Technology programme aims to produce graduates with the technical, professional, and managerial skills necessary to plan, develop, and manage IT systems that benefit businesses. The program emphasizes the development of critical thinking, reflective computing practices, and a deep understanding of the social, ethical, and organizational aspects of technology use.

Students will gain hands-on experience through practical projects, industry collaborations, and opportunities to work with real-world clients, allowing them to acquire a diverse set of skills highly valued by employers. The curriculum also covers emerging trends and current research in IT, equipping students with the knowledge and adaptability required for leadership roles in information technology management.

With a focus on professional development, students will engage in teamwork, project management methodologies (such as PRINCE2® and ITIL®), and have access to industry-standard software and hardware, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in the dynamic IT industry or further academic pursuits.

• C6 in English at GCE ‘O’ Levels OR
• IELTS 6.0 (with no elements lower than 5.5) OR
• MDIS Professional Certificate in English OR
• Pass MDIS English Placement Test OR
• Equivalent

Full-Time: 24 months

• Applicants who submit their applications before 31 August 2026 are eligible for a 20% tuition fee rebate.
